Add value to your degree with a minor in communication. Develop communication skills that will serve you in whatever career you choose, such as:

  • Public speaking
  • Interviewing
  • Argumentation and debate
  • Difficult dialogues
  • Communication technology skills

This minor incorporates a course in communication skills with your choice of one of three courses central to the study of communication. Through these central courses, you can examine how language is used to influence and persuade. You can also learn how to describe and predict communication behavior and mediated communication in a variety of contexts.

You'll round out your minor by choosing three courses from among the rich array of offerings.

This minor is open to all majors.
