Research Interests

Broadly, my research interests center on the experiences of individuals with stigmatized or marginalized identities (with particular interest in gender identity, sexual orientation, SES, race, and immigration status) as they interact with and within organizations and engage in work. Current topics of interest include disclosure, identity management, authenticity, dehumanization, and approaches to collecting demographic data. I am also interested in the language we use when discussing diversity and incorporating feminist, queer, and other underutilized methodologies into I/O.
