Beck, Jake

Michael (Jake) Beck is a lecturer in the Department of Communication and Journalism who began his career at Texas A&M University on August 15, 2022. He earned his master’s degree from the University of North Texas and his Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University – Carbondale. His research interests are the intersection between performance studies and video game studies through the use of live, embodied performances.
