Biography
Sylvia M. Emmanuel is a sociologist in the Office of Research Development. In this role she primarily works with faculty and researchers in the Social Sciences and Humanities to develop competitive proposals. Specifically, she facilitates strategic research team development and planning, provides strategic reviews and analysis of proposals, and serves as a point of communication with sponsors and other community collaborators. She has a B.A. and M.A. in Sociology and is currently completing her Ph.D. in sociology.
