Faculty and staff of the Texas A&M University College of Arts and Sciences gathered Tuesday afternoon in the Ford Hall of Champions at Kyle Field on campus to celebrate their exceptional colleagues during the college's third annual awards ceremony.

The awards program was established to recognize and celebrate faculty and staff for their dedication to academic and professional excellence and selfless contributions. For the first time, the college also honored 10 Outstanding Graduating Seniors at the event. The variety of awards given demonstrates the diverse opportunities available in one of the largest colleges at Texas A&M, as its faculty, staff and students work together to realize individual goals and collective aspirations.

During the event, Dr. Stefanie Harris, associate dean for faculty affairs and a professor in the Department of Global Languages and Cultures, shared excerpts from the honorees’ nomination forms as each recipient was presented with a monetary award and plaque.

In his remarks, Dean of Arts and Sciences and Professor of Biology Dr. Mark J. Zoran noted the exceptional quality of the college’s faculty, staff and incredible students.

“This college is truly special, and that’s no secret,” Zoran said. “The distinction of selfless service and excellence is a standard in our college that is evident in the quality of its teaching, research and service.

“I am honored to commemorate and thank our 2025 recipients for their many achievements and dedication. The variety of accomplishments and contributions across the humanities, natural sciences and social sciences celebrated each year is a direct reflection of our college as the academic heart of Texas A&M and the dedication of many people who keep it beating."
