Develop an interdisciplinary knowledge base with an undergraduate degree in University Studies — Race, Gender, Ethnicity concentration.
You will study methodologies appropriate to interdisciplinary studies through:
- Four inquiry-rich, research-based courses
- An introduction to each discipline
- One capstone senior seminar
Other courses in the core are drawn from areas such as Africana Studies, Latino/a and Mexican-American Studies, and Women's and Gender Studies.
A student enrolled in the University Studies concentration of Race, Gender, Ethnicity may not pursue a double major or a double degree.

The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) is more focused on problem solving and analyzing data to examine major social and cultural issues. This degree plan requires more courses in science and encourages statistics and mathematics.

All University Studies degrees require the completion of two university-approved minors. At least one minor must be from outside the College of Arts and Sciences.
