College of Arts & Sciences

Any student who has attended college will be considered a transfer student. Transfer students will go through the same application process through the Texas Common Application as direct applicants.

Transfer students will require at least a 3.00 cumulative GPA and all CBK courses completed with at least a B in all courses to be considered. Those with 45 or more hours completed at the time of application will be given preference in admission. The transfer into Biomedical Sciences must occur before the student reaches 75 completed hours.

We're looking for students with the curiosity, character and grit to be change agents in their cities and neighborhoods, across the globe, even beyond our galaxy. If this sounds like you, we want you to be an Aggie!

Our mission is to educate students who will create a healthier future for humans and animals through the medical professions, biomedical innovation and discovery, global service and outreach.

The Biomedical Sciences (BIMS) can be completed at both the College Station campus and the Higher Education Center at McAllen. However, students may choose to complete a minimum set of requirements at one campus and then finish the degree at the other location. Please review the Change of Campus Requirements as early as possible to be prepared.
