Electives

Customize your degree in the Biomedical Sciences program through your selection of electives. Electives allow you to tailor your degree program to your interests.

Directed Electives

BIMS directed electives are courses that constitute the major offered by the college and those approved for biomedical science electives.

Writing Courses

BIMS writing course requirements must be met by taking writing and oral communications classes pre-approved by the program.

Core Curriculum

Core curriculum courses are approved by the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and are required for all university students pursuing an undergraduate degree.

Free Electives

Depending upon your catalog, you may choose any 100 - 499 course except MATH 102 - 104. Only 1 credit KINE 199 may be used. Please consult with your academic advisor to confirm your choice.
