An exchange program is the longest program option and the most cost efficient. You pay regular TAMU tuition and fees but instead of taking a full course load here for the semester or year, you take it abroad at one of our partner institutions. You must take at least 12 hours of credit to be considered a full-time student. The benefits of this program option are that you have the opportunity to become fully emersed in the country’s culture and education system while forming life-long friendships. You also have more time to travel to other cities or countries on the weekends or during breaks. While Texas A&M has several exchange partnerships for any student in the university, the College of Arts and Sciences has three unique partnerships for students majoring in either Economics, Philosophy, or Geosciences. Take a look at their program overviews below, and let us know if you have any questions.
