The minor in meteorology begins with a broad survey of the atmospheric sciences and associated weather analysis. After completing this broad survey, you will get a more detailed introduction to at least one subdiscipline of the atmospheric sciences, such as:
- Atmospheric chemistry
- Dynamics
- Computer applications
- Severe weather
You will also be introduced to related Earth systems topics, including:
- Oceanography
- Earth-surface processes
- Atmosphere-biosphere interactions
